On the Saturday of our recent National Family Violence Summit, Canberrans came out in force to demand change to the cycle of family violence at the second Tara's Walk for Change.
Supporters started at Patrick White Lawns, walking through to Lennox Gardens and then looping back. A one-minute silence in memory of Tara and all victims of domestic violence preceded the walk. It was a beautiful and powerful morning for everyone involved.
From now on, this will be an annual event to remember all victims and to say no to family violence.
